Body dysmorphia is very much a mental illness.
It is when your brain tells you your body is somehow "wrong", this can manifest in many ways.

Anorexia is a good example, Their brain tells them they are Fat. Xenomelia is another, where someone's brain tells them that part of their body shouldn't be there and they want it cut off, like a hand for example.

All of these boil down to the Brain telling the Person the body isn't right somehow, and that isn't healthy.

Once you learn to be indifferent your life will change.

Andrew is indifferent to you as you don't matter to him. You hate him which is an emotional connection.

Having an emotional connection to someone who is indifferent in return isn't great for long term mental health as it burns out the one spending the emotional calories.

Hate only effects the one that carries it, the question to you is, What is Andrew to you, in your life, that you are willing to spend your emotion on him.

I save my emotion for those that matter to me, and my head became so much clearer by doing so.

I don't agree with that take. When i grew up there was always the Lib Dems, they were the center ground, and we had Labour and the Conservatives.

The bare minimum will be 3 parties Left/Center/Right.

And that is starting to reestablish itself. There are clear Left/Center/Right parties forming again, for too long all we had was the Center
