People jump to ‘racism’ so fast these days it makes real discussion impossible.
I’m not saying she’s not racist, but I doubt she looked over and thought ‘different race — let me blow out her candles.’
No one sees themselves as the villain. Abusive parents always have some excuse like ‘he wasn’t listening’ or ‘I’m disciplining him.’
I’m just wondering what her actual reasoning was in that moment. It’s so strange
She's working the front desk—it's literally her job to handle key card issues and help guests access the rooms they've paid for. This isn't some random woman; she's the employee on duty. The guy isn't asking her to administer his meds; he just needs to get inside to grab them himself. If she's too scared to do basic tasks alone at night, maybe don't take a solo night shift gig. Playing the "oh I'm just a helpless girl" card is ridiculous when a paying customer's locked out. Guest was reasonable; she overreacted.
@BafanaSurprise Mother of the Nation? Hard pass—this isn't legendary. Whipping your restrained son after he's already caught and cuffed isn't discipline; it's proof parenting went off the rails way earlier. Belt time now solves nothing. 😕
The Supreme Court has just affirmed my prison sentence for hatespeech (memes in a private groupchat 8 years ago). Haven't got any details yet. Will meet with lawyers soon.
