Author Kerry Madden-Lunsford visited two of our 6th grade ELA classes on her #WerewolfHamlet book tour! Students learned a fun brainstorming technique, read an excerpt with her, and even traded Shakespearean insults. Big thanks to Union Avenue Books for making it happen!
We want to recognize our fabulous counselors during counselor appreciation week! Michelle Williams and Kristina Sims go above and beyond to help our students, staff, and community with a variety of support. We truly have the best in the business!
Guess who’s back? The Book Mobile has risen from its COVID-19 slumber to keep you reading while the library is under construction. Catch it in your grade level area—same great books, new delivery style! 📚🚌

KMS AVID, College & Career, and ELL students had the privilege of meeting @CarlosOnTheGo12 this morning and hearing his amazing and empowering story.

I have so loved the student agency piece of this training. Here’s a powerful quote…

Our staff pranked me by having these crazy shirts made and wore them on Valentines of all days. Lots of strange looks in public! I love this staff though, best in Knox Co!
