I honestly think there is something these elite class and political jobbers have seen that many ordinary Nigerians have not yet seen.

Because Peter Obi is not the only presidential candidate, yet his name seems to dominate their attacks and political commentary.

They mock “consumption to production.” They mock “I didn't steal.” Fine. But where are the better alternatives? Where are the detailed plans from the other candidates? Why not subject everyone to the same scrutiny?

Is producing what we consume, processing our raw materials, creating jobs and reducing dependence on imports suddenly a bad thing?

And since when did “I didn't steal” become something to mock? Integrity is not the only requirement for leadership, but it is certainly a basic one. Nigerians deserve competence, integrity and results.

Criticise Peter Obi. Challenge his policies. Challenge his numbers. But let's hear what EVERY other candidate has to offer too.

Why is it always Peter Obi?
Maybe the political class should stop underestimating ordinary Nigerians. We are watching, listening and comparing.

And if 2027 brings the political earthquake many Nigerians are expecting, some of these political jobbers may indeed have to start looking for a new line of work.

2027 will be a referendum on the old politics versus a demand for something different. Let Nigerians decide.
