In één jaar stapten drie artsen op bij de strengste asielopvang van Nederland. de HTL in Hoogeveen.

Het COA plaatst er steeds vaker asielzoekers met zware psychiatrische problemen tussen agressieve overlastgevers en verslaafden. Volgens de artsen werden medische bezwaren terzijde geschoven,
afgekeurde plaatsingen later alsnog goedgekeurd en gebeurt de beoordeling op afstand, op papier.

Maar geen zorgen: wie er genoeg van heeft, kan vertrekken en staat na het tekenen van een formulier weer buiten. Op straat. Misschien wel in uw buurt.
