As an example, Windows Update often fucks over my EFI

I couldn't recover on arch, because I used ext4 and needed an ISO i couldnt access, but on nixOS, i was, because i kept a copy of my flake on a different drive

Even then, both OS' store most things under ~/ so i lost nothing

While Windows always works immediately, it also always bogs and breaks. Its capabilities are hampered by its structural stability

People choose linux because it either refuses to work, or refuses to break, and because it refuses to break, its more consistent.

I watched the whole video, so basically mac user tries Linux, while putting a hook saying Windows is "bad". Then understands linux doesn't always work, goes back to Mac. Do you realise that Windows just always works, irrespective of your hardware. All drivers work. App install is a breeze.

The only issue is people hate Microsoft for obvious reasons. Look past that and Windows is the most capable desktop OS by miles.

Linux is good for specific tasks, like servers, but for everyday use, Windows is unbeatable.

With macOS, I'm tied to whatever hardware Apple provides. For example, I have a 10 year old ThinkCentre. I already installed Windows 11 and all drivers just work. All peripherals are plug and play.

How about macOS or Linux? Apart from both installing, they'll have issues. They'll never be usable.

My dad uses this 10 year old ThinkCentre every single day without any issues.

That's the beauty of Windows.

Eitherway, I understand that you need to get views from Windows haters. So, yeah, good job.
