Listen y'all:
Vouchers are NOT a "done deal!"
Texans are just now waking up!
Retired teachers promised pensions are in danger!
Texas business/workforce is in danger!
R's are getting an BIG earful from their conservative ppl!
Keep it hot on #txlege R's NOW!
Tell them this:
🚨 #txlege budgets have been released.
$1 Billion for 60,000 students to attend private schools, $3.85 Billion for the 5.6 million students in public schools.
$16,667 per private school student.
$686 per public school student.
Our #txed students, teachers, and families deserve better.

Texas public schools have grappled with soaring costs for utilities, insurance, and fuel, alongside an unprecedented teacher shortage. Despite these challenges, the Texas Legislature has not increased the Basic Allotment—the primary mechanism for funding public education—since 2019.
This stagnation has led to significant budget deficits across many districts, forcing some to consider program cuts, layoffs, and even school closures.
In the upcoming legislative session, with the state projecting a substantial surplus, there is a critical opportunity to address these funding shortfalls. #txed advocates are urging #txlege to increase the Basic Allotment to match current inflation rates and to implement automatic adjustments to keep pace with future inflation.
The question remains: Will the Texas Legislature seize this unprecedented opportunity to provide the necessary funding for our public schools?
Vouchers hurt poor kids.
Vouchers scam public taxpayers.
Vouchers fund bad religion.
Vouchers violate civil liberty.
Vouchers bust state budgets.
Vouchers break state laws.
Vouchers corrupt public trust.
No vouchers in Texas!
Ever!

BREAKING: Michigan's Supreme Court rules that Republican lawmakers unconstitutionally subverted a proposal supported by voters to raise the state's minimum wage — paving the way for better pay.
MAGA is furious and it gets even better...
The 4-3 ruling will likely raise the state's minimum wage of $10.33 by at least $2 by February, making a world of difference for hardworking Americans living paycheck to paycheck.
Cost-of-living increases will be applied up through 2029. On top of that, tipped workers will be receive the same minimum by 2029, a marked improvement over the current situation in which some are paid as little as $3.84 an hour.
"We have finally prevailed over the corporate interests who tried everything they could to prevent all workers, including restaurant workers, from being paid a full, fair wage with tips on top," said Saru Jayaraman, president of One Fair Wage, a nonprofit organizing group.
This is what can happen when you vote for Democrats! Instead of tax cuts for the rich and corporate handouts, you get concrete improvements to the lives of real people.

Yesterday a clipped video was shared by right wing users on X and seen over 12 million times. It showed Biden allegedly ignoring an African-American woman.
I hope that this video of the same woman getting hugged by Biden is seen by at least 12 million people, but I know it won’t be.
That’s the way the misinformation machine works here on X. The clipped video with the false narrative will be seen exponentially more than the actual context.
Donald Trump, at the advice of Project 2025 & Agenda 47, vows to get rid of the Department of Education and leave it to the states.

What do they have in common?
Make no mistake, Donald Trump wants to keep Republicans uneducated because an uneducated population will continue to give him and his cronies power.
These Daniel Dale fact checks on 28 of trump's debate lies would have been more welcome DURING the debate, but still important to get these facts out.
SPREAD THIS LIKE CRAZY.
