Dent and Kramer are averaging 3.7 and 6.3 tackles per game, respectively. During that stretch, the Cardinals have outscored their opponents 202-6. Ell-Saline (8M-I, 2-1) senior Kas Kramer has continued to prove why he’s one of the most dynamic players in 8M-I, following up a breakout junior season in which he earned SIK All-State ATH honors. Kramer was electric again Friday night, scoring 3 touchdowns on just 7 carries in the Cardinals’ dominant 54-0 win over Norwich. He wasn’t just making noise on offense, Kramer also snagged one of the team’s three interceptions in the win, with the other two going to senior Collin Dent. Through three weeks, Kramer has been the centerpiece of Ell-Saline’s success, totaling 248 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns, plus 2 receiving TDs on just 4 catches. On the other side of the ball, he leads the team defensively, averaging 6.7 tackles per game with 2 interceptions on the year. Ell-Saline’s only loss came in Week 1 to Hanover, but the Cardinals have bounced back strong. They’ll host Canton-Galva this week in a big-time 8M-I showdown as they look to keep their momentum rolling.#sportsinkansas
