@extracovercrick @michaelscottfc Rizwan & Agha shouldn’t be in the T20 team, they bring no T20 skillset. Pak can only have one anchor & that’s Babar. They need likes of Samad, Niazi, Shadab, etc playing in rotation to come with combinations
@extracovercrick @michaelscottfc Teams that are investing future are doing well. Pak believes in brining skeletons back from the grave. Yes Farhan did well in PSL & deserved a chance but he’s had a fair chance at intl level & didn’t do well. Why block youngsters like Naeem / Nafay / Sadaqat who have the T20 game
@extracovercrick @michaelscottfc Ergo, he’s not new. He’s been around for donkey’s years & still very much one-dimensional hit or miss. Had years to improve his game but didn’t. Move on!
@Cricwick They had a problem with Babar striking at 128 & wanted a 6-hitter in powerplay. Now they have Farhan who hits sixes but still strikes at 124 😂😂
@DeafMango You’re being too nice. It’s easy to see Agha and Farhan shouldn’t be in this T20I team. Stats don’t lie. I’d even go on to say Babar & Naeem / Nafay should open and Saim should play at 3. But that’s just me.
@MustafaS04@michaelscottfc I’d rather have H Nawaz keep wickets and Md Naeem in as opener. You can’t have a T20 team that has Agha, Babar, and Rizwan - it’s a disaster. My opinion is that both Agha & Rizwan should be kept out of T20s.
@extracovercrick @michaelscottfc Farhan is new?! Pretty sure he made his international debut 7 years ago in 2018. He hits a six and then misses the next 6 balls to end up with 120 strike rate. The obsession with sixes has made Pak prefer mediocre hitters over genuinely good batsmen.
@angoor0aadmi@SajSadiqCricket Players like Fakhar, Faheem, Agha have had plenty of time to prove themselves. Others deserve a fair chance too now while they’re young, not when they’re in 30s
