Almost done integrating a full AMM on the KCC-0020 token standard - the first conformant build. Swaps, liquidity, farming - live on testnet.

Honest finding from building it: the default 3-in / 3-out token family cap makes richer flows possible but less user friendly. Anything that composes more than one pool in a single action has to be spread across a few transactions instead of landing atomically in one.

The standard already lets a token choose a higher max_token_inputs/outputs. For DeFi-bound tokens, a bigger family = one-tx atomic composition = smoother, safer UX. Worth setting at mint.

A few more things we ran into that we want to check our understanding on - genuinely asking, corrections welcome:

• Covenant size - our pool re-embeds the token template at every note it validates, and the program grew to ~113 KB before we hand-deduped it. Is there a constant-pooling / shared-template mechanism we’re missing?

• Entrypoint dispatch - the spec defines it as Hash(FunctionSignature)[0:4], but the reference compiler emits a 1-byte positional branch index. Which is normative?

• Output state - we can read an input’s state, but for outputs we can only assert a candidate (no readOutputState). Is that asymmetry intended, or is a reader planned?

• Mass budget - between covenant sizes and the ~500k mass ceiling, only a little fits in one tx before richer flows break into several. Is multi-tx the intended model?

First conformant build, so on the open questions it’s very possible we’re holding some wrong. Happy to be corrected.
