Trump’s “drill baby drill” policies during both terms, which were screamed as being a catastrophe, have had little impact on CO2 per capita with sustained growth, while in “net zero” UK, GDP pc flat since ‘08 🤔

@EdwardJDavey ~80% of brits use gas to heat their homes. Most UK housing stock is unsuitable for heat pumps. “Green” policy means we now import gas to meet a demand that’s going nowhere soon, increasing total emissions, costs, and with no jobs benefit. If only there was a pragmatic solution…
