The B-2’s most unusual feature is also what makes this landing so recognizable: there is no conventional tail.

The U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit uses a flying-wing configuration to reduce radar signature while also providing aerodynamic efficiency. In this footage, “Spirit of New York” (AF 86-1068) arrives at RAF Fairford, where U.S. strategic bombers regularly deploy for training and Bomber Task Force Europe operations.

Watch the silhouette as it touches down. That enormous wing is the aircraft.
