This one has no good way to respond :) listing things is weird, not listing kinda implies I have no restrictions?
I would probably make a joke like “I’m pretty open to anything we both enjoy, but I dislike being penetrated by stuffed animals while reading “The Pickwick Papers”. (I just don’t like Dickens).
But I will then note to myself that the encounter would likely be dry and review board-like, and decide whether I even want it at all.
@VeronicaTurbay Donation sounds a bit silly but for some reason doesn’t affect me in any way.
I think out of those things I dislike calling it a “tip”, because it implies the absence of agreement.
@amaresiren Why is it crazy? She’ll either get it or learn she overshot. Price ranges aren’t fixed - everyone picks based on how they value their time, the market level, then adjusts based on responses.
We’re biologically coded with a reptilian brain and a prefrontal cortex. The whole point of the second one is to override the first.
Picking one layer to justify a behavior and ignoring the other isn’t biology.
It’s choosing the part that supports what you already wanted to say.
@Maddu_550 Fake people is the most frequent response apparently. I wonder if people who wrote it can take a challenge, go to the nearest family member and tell them somethIng they never did but thought.
@kumarvikash@stats_feed I feel like my entire X feed consists of the same bait phrases recently.
I never thought insults would feel better than those, but at least it feels original 😂
