Tiananmen square wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but I enjoyed reading it. The last few chapters are brutal, as expected. The last page was truly unexpected. 4βοΈ

I was planning on reading Wild Dark Shore in June, but I just had to pick it up. This is the type of book where the setting is a character in itself. Beautiful and haunting story. 4βοΈ
The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi was my first by this author and I liked the writing. The story is fast paced and the fantastical world ia beautifully build. 4βοΈ
