@BullzOverBearz@6ixbuzztv When traffic is dead stopped on the highway or REAL slow, the zipper method is right and people that don’t do it, slow down the already slow lanes. When traffic is moving at this speed, obviously it’s not.
@BrittNotABot@StephenPunwasi Once you submit the proper receipt, it will reverse and you’ll get back pay for whatever credit/benefit you haven’t received. this happened to me one year when they determined my receipt didn’t have all the information on it. Once I got a new receipt and submitted it was all fine

@Tablesalt13@HuukedOnFonix@jwarwick It’s not. it’s delayed by how many weeks of severance you got. you serve a one week waiting period and then you get paid 55% of your average weekly earnings up to a max of $63,200 year. Gets you a $668/wk payment (less taxes).
@HairyBizRat@breakfasttv Yes. We want to make enough money in 25 hours a week of work to live.
Why in the world should you have to spend 1/3 of your time working to JUST be able to afford to live? And not even well in this economy. what about family? And community? And rest? Joy? We should all want this
@DustyRoseYYC You think people had LESS govt support during COVID? Maybe in person - but not overall? CERB, EI, CRA hotlines all had record numbers. Do you know how many departments they had to backlog to put people on CERB hotlines?
