Some say William gave these earrings to Catherine as a present. Perhaps, but like most things, we have no idea if this is true or not.
But what I do know is they are amazing and sadly no longer for sale. Gold plated brass with natural blue stones, perhaps sapphire or iolite?💙❤️
I found something interesting when I was taking a look at the squaddies' accounts, of which I am fortunately blocked in most cases. But a person can still look and laugh.
Apparently they are all agog about the Princess of Wales' fingernails.
Catherine's nails had no polish on them, and she has short nails, also, but as a woman who plays the piano, the princess cannot have long nails at all. They must be short.
Catherine loves to garden, and she has a new home this year with new gardens that she'll want to putter in with her children as well as for herself. Plus there are the bees, playing tennis etc.
There are so many reasons to not wear polish, though Catherine does wear it from time to time. But keeping a polish chip-free is difficult for a woman who has so many diverse interests.
Then the funny squaddies thought Catherine's hands looked a bit dry. They must not know how many hands the Princess of Wales shakes every week. Catherine is greeted by people everywhere, and she is happy to spend time with them. And it requires using hand sanitizer, since she has her health to watch, and hand sanitizer is so very drying.
It's difficult to grasp the difference of not just being as lovely on the outside and one is on the inside, for it is the inside that matters most. Just ask the server at the Admiralty House in Australia who had hot tea thrown at her by the less blessed.
Catherine is a beauty. A true English rose. And that's saying something.
