BREAKING NEWS from PCPS Election HQ! Students at Padgett Elementary went to the polls today to cast their ballots for extra recess, or a no-homework pass. The results are in, and extra recess won with nearly 63% of the vote. Clearly, the recess voters were not playing around. 🗳️

Great visual shared by @MmeLockhartLDSB via @sstollar6! Strong Tier 1 instruction reduces the need for extra interventions, ensuring students who need intensive support get it. Let’s prioritize strong foundational teaching for every student. #MTSS

Padgett Elementary held a progress parade for students this week, organized by Beth Ashmore, the Polk County Teacher of the Year. Lake Gibson High cheerleaders came out to help celebrate Padgett students, but also surprised Ashmore with this show of appreciation.📣 @LGHSOfficial
Today at @CaldwellElemen we celebrated every student and teacher with a "progress parade" followed by the most epic confetti canon house assembly ever! #LovePolkSchools
