@michaelhogan Strictly judges points - does they only go from 9 to 5 (instead of 1) due to 4 ties? So those high on leader board is more vulnerable than usual. How unusual is this??

It’s International Women in Engineering Day #INWED21. I’m about to join the @WES1919 event. Then at 2pm a UCAS/Discovery session. @ucas_online. Oh, and @uclwes this evening. Busy, busy!
@viragthakkar@MoorgreenWood @MiddleAgeJohn1 @BBCArchive I always said the predictions of tech weren’t enough - you need to factor in people and how they choose to use it. I could see the potential but I thought some of the suggested uses were naff - like an information superhighway shopping mall 🤷🏻♀️
@jjsanderson@FlyingQuercus@suchprettyeyes It’s that clip again! I remember thinking that shopping using the information superhighway was a bit naff. And 27 years later, I’ve spent a year avoiding real live shops.
@poyynt Not a clue. I was bulk-buying fax paper! Though I did anticipate a version of iPlayer that picks out what it thinks you might like to watch ... and records it for you.
@KateBellingham Hi Kate, Women engineers working in AI and sustainability talk about how engineering solves global problems, supported by standards and guidance - our free online event on 21 April: https://t.co/Pw6glDBrFE #MakingEngineeringWork
