@sam_browne13 A TA working a full school week typically takes home circa £1k pcm. A job only workable by those in a household with income from another, higher, earner. The demands and responsibilities have grown beyond recognition, but the role is still paid as a 'pocket-money job for mums'.

[BladeoftheSun @BladeoftheS]

Let me make it clear for people who struggle to understand.

The Media is run by very rich, very evil people, they don't give a toss about the truth, if somehow you haven't noticed I am telling you.

They want the most evil people elected, because it makes them the most money.

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@currys I did that.

So far, incredibly unhelpful.

An auto chat, which ended up pinging me a pdf list of brands.

Which didn't even include the brand of my TV.

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@currys
Is @CurrysServices for real...?

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@TeamKnowhowUK my JVC TV will no longer open Freeview Play or any TV apps that use it, telling me I need to accept Ts&Cs first. When I select View Ts&Cs, I get an error message. JVC website says you provide support. So, what do I do?? Previously fine since bought last Oct.

[Diane Abbott @HackneyAbbott]

This is factually incorrect. I have never been offered a seat in the Lords, and would not accept one if offered.
I am the adopted Labour candidate for Hackney North & Stoke Newington. I intend to run and to win as Labour's candidate.

Very well worth a watch. Intriguing subject, meticulously researched, excellently presented.

[Adam Busiakiewicz @Adam_FineArt]

I’ve recorded a new podcast focusing on the life of Elizabeth Hamilton (1720-1800), 1st Countess of Warwick - her biography has never been treated in any meaningful way - https://t.co/c3gJFXUHGs (1/6)

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@Adam_FineArt Just finished watching it - it popped up in my YT recs - thoroughly enjoyed. What a fascinating woman!

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

"she's irrelevant... a twice-fired ex-Home Sec. who achieved absolutely nothing... in office beyond engorging the racist right-wing lunatics into a froth with rhetoric that made her sound like she had Enoch Powell crossed with Paul Golding living in the back of her throat"
💯

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@superdrug
Need help with something.
Having a frustrating time with your WhatsApp - slow to respond, and an unhelpful suggestion, so far.
I see SuperdrugHelp no longer exists on here.
How can I get some meaningful assistance with my issue?

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@AskeBay
2 items not shipped & seller won't communicate.
'Item has not arrived' says I can open an 'I didn't receive it' request today, from 'More actions' menu.
'More actions' menu only offers 'Item has not arrived' option - which takes me to the message above!
Round in circles!

@JoannaStanbrid1 @rlrossi64 @bphillipsonMP *Exactly* my experience in the front line, as a learning support assistant in mainstream. Eternally low pay; increasingly skyrocketing expectations of the support we should provide on a day-today basis. Needs continue to increase - in complexity, severity, and diversity.

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@joanne_jobutts @rlrossi64 @bphillipsonMP One of those 'people on low wages', here. SEND in mainstream is in crisis. Parents have (rightly) high expectations of the level/type of support their EHCP children should receive. Front line staff do our best. But we are understaffed, because underfunded.

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@10DowningStreet Disingenuous. Sickening. Rage-making, divorced from reality. Vicious.

[Sebastian Coe @SEBdotCOEdotUK]

@campbellclaret In a nutshell:

"We don't believe you are ill and frankly, if you are, we don't care. You'll go to work even if it kills you"

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@SophieP25397 @campbellclaret Anyone who has been privately educated should be BANNED from running for public office. Inevitably means they are divorced from reality in a fundamental way.

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

@stanreardon @DalbyMonica Do please stop with the Not-All-Men-ing.

It's old and tired.

[Monica Dalby @DalbyMonica]

@Lucy_Worsley @BBCTwo Your lipstick; Alice Robert’s’ hair colour; Mary Beard not wearing makeup; female meteorologists’ choice of clothing; - what all these complainers really mean is that they don’t think women should be on the TV apart from as pretty sidekicks to a man.

[Kate CBA @KateCBA]

But but but Lucy! The opinions of the mens is Important - capital 'I'! Won't you now weep into your pillow and henceforth mend your scarlet-lipped ways??

[Lucy Worsley @Lucy_Worsley]

Every morning after I've had a programme on @BBCTwo my inbox gets delightfully full of messages from men who didn't like my lipstick. It makes me feel like it's 1922 and I'm being castigated by Captain Hastings for being 'fast'.
