A gun was fired at Lucy Addison Middle School in Roanoke this afternoon, a week after a Roanoke City school bus was hit by a bullet. No one was hurt in either incident.

A Roanoke City School bus was hit by a bullet Tuesday evening near Loudon Ave and 24th Street NW. Five middle school students were on board at the time. No one on the bus was injured.

Former Rocky Mount Police Officer Jacob Fracker pled guilty to a conspiracy charge in connection to the January 6 insurrection.

GUILTY: Roanoke City Councilman found guilty on two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses. Prosecutors said Robert Jeffrey Jr. stole funds under the CARES Act.

This clip captures part of the scene at the Covington Farm & Fuel gas station where three people were killed. Those deaths include a Town of Covington Police officer and the suspect, according to State Police.
