Not the same at all but it has reminded me that when my grandfather died (at home, aged 90, late November 2011) a lot of family members gathered in the small front room to say their goodbyes. 1/2

@danny_robins This is a powerful one. The voice could have been the deceased gentleman requesting his release. If we look at other possibilities I think it could have been the case that John was anticipating his crew mate telling him to stop and imagined hearing "Stop" through an inner voice.

@danny_robins However, in 1960s, Saturday matinees in cinemas could have shown B-movies with scenes of monsters or villains falling from buildings so could these have influenced a dream?? It doesn’t entirely add up though does it? It stuck with Ava & then she found out who that poor woman was.

@danny_robins This one is quite compelling. Ava was clearly disturbed by what she saw. People jumping and falling from windows or other high vantage points was quite a common trope in 1950s cinema but it’s unlikely that an 11-year-old girl would have watched any of these films at that time…

@ILovesTheDiff My family (partner and children) travelled from home to pick me up and drive me to Cardiff so I got there fifty minutes later than expected, it cost me for a single ticket and my family had to do a 1 hour and 30 minute journey by car they weren’t expecting but yes 😊
