@jlk100 Thank you- I hadn’t realised, until this thread, that using the term ASD was offensive. I used that term because that is what is written as a child’s formal diagnosis when I receive a report from a paediatrician- I know better now, thank you

Morning, I’m on day 4 of a headache. Days 1&2 were full on horrendous migraine. I’m doing a bit of CPD via twitter. I’m genuinely missing being at work and wondering how some of my lovely ND children are managing.

@SimoneSmitAu I like changing the perception, reframing it from challenging behaviour to ‘distressed behaviour’ I will use this with lots of children with and without diagnoses

@Lilley_Sam22 Plan things in that you want to do for you throughout the week and protect those things as though your life depends on it! There’s no medal for the teacher that reaches burnout quickest! Your time is sacrosanct
