11 Months today since Labour stepped into Downing Street. Not even a year and our Country is improving daily both economically and fairly. In addition we’ve 3 trade deals and a stronger international presence. I’d say Starmer is doing bloody well.
Labour focussed on helping Families with sudden costs and young people in deprived areas will get vital help, as £440 million from forgotten assets is put to work in communities across England through the first-ever Dormant Assets Scheme Strategy.

There have been reductions of 75% in child mortality and 50% in child injury in some areas of London since introducing 20mph limits.
Separate studies have found 20mph limits reduce all accidents by 35%.
As confirmed by Zia Yusuf this morning Reform will not guarantee the triple lock
So whilst they’ll hand back fuel allowance to millionaire pensioners they’d won’t ensure that the state pension, which is important to the poorest pensioners, keeps its value

They want to leave the ECHR because it will allow them to abolish the State Pension, the Minimum Wage, and paid holiday and sick leave.
It would make them tens of billions a year.
But of course they say immigration, because they can't tell you the real reason.
232,112 - the number of covid deaths in the UK as of June 1st 2025
180,000 - the number of lives that could have been saved with a fully functioning Test, Trace & Isolate system, according to Professor Anthony Costello giving testimony at the covid inquiry
UK spent £37 billion
Ireland spent £280 million
How many lives were lost because Boris Johnson, Rishi Sunak and Dido Harding decided to enable profiteering in a pandemic, instead of prioritising public health and build up our national infrastructure?
When asked by journalists whether yesterday’s operation might enrage the Russians, I responded that just a day earlier, Russia had launched a massive overnight attack on Ukraine, over 480 drones and missiles. They struck civilian infrastructure, residential buildings. There were casualties, people killed and injured.
This happens every single day. Sometimes there’s a short pause, and to be honest, we now call it a “pause” if there’s just no one killed that night. But even then, drones still fly, and people still get wounded. These so-called pauses just mean fewer attacks than usual, but we’re still talking about dozens of drones and cruise missiles.
So no, no one cares whether Russia is angry. What matters is that Russia must move toward ending this war. And as a global community, we must all do what we can to stop them.
We are very much awaiting strong steps from the United States. We hope he will support sanctions and push Putin to stop this war, at least to take the first step toward ending it: a ceasefire. These are critical things. I believe that from the position of the U.S., we will be able to achieve this faster.
Jenrick pushed our migrant processing from 6 months to 3 years as a deterrent that was never going to work.
Using hotels to house them is a Britain only problem, this isn't happening in France and Germany.
He should be invoiced not the tax payer.

"Thames Water preferred bidder KKR pulls out of rescue deal."
That's it. Game over for @Thameswater.
Govt needs to put TW into special administration and today!

In 1996 UK govt sold off armed forces' housing to a private equity-backed investor.
Almost 30 years later, with billions paid in rent and 2/3 of the homes in urgent need of repairs, the govt is buying them back to upgrade them.
Lesson: privatisation is a scam & must be reversed
📷NOTTINGHAMSHIRE LEFT WITHOUT LEADERSHIP AS REFORM SCRAP ALL KEY NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL MEETINGS IN JUNE
Just weeks into their term, the new Reform administration at Nottinghamshire County Council has cancelled all council-run committee meetings for the entire month of June—sparking serious concerns about leadership, accountability, and the future of local services.
The decision halts key functions of the Council, including meetings of the Cabinet, Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Planning and Rights of Way Committee, and Governance and Ethics Committee. These committees are responsible for decisions that directly affect local residents—on everything from road repairs and development plans to school support and adult care.
According to Conservative opposition councillors, the move has left council officers and departments in limbo, with no political direction, no clear policy agenda, and no visible leadership from those elected to provide it.
“This is a shambolic start from Reform,” said County Councillor Sam Smith, Leader of the Conservative Group and Main Opposition at County Hall.
“Local residents were promised action, change and common sense. Instead, we’ve got silence, confusion and a complete absence of leadership. Scrapping every key meeting in their first full month in charge is not only reckless—it’s dangerous. This puts public services at risk and shows just how unprepared Reform really are. And, the boats are still coming up the Trent!”
At the first Full Council meeting on Thursday 22 May, newly appointed Cabinet Members were asked basic questions about their areas of responsibility. Not one was able to give a clear answer. Instead, they claimed they hadn’t been briefed—despite having full access to senior officers who are available to support them.
“There’s no excuse for this,” added Cllr Smith. “They should be in their offices, speaking to officers, and getting to grips with their jobs. Instead, the car park is empty, and the Council is effectively leaderless. This is what happens when you elect people who had no plan and no idea what the job involved.”
Council staff and officers, who work hard behind the scenes to keep local services running, are now left waiting for decisions that aren’t being made. Without Cabinet meetings or scrutiny committees, important issues are being delayed, and residents are paying the price.
Reform’s campaign was full of bold promises—but the reality is already falling apart. There’s no strategy, no urgency, and no answers. It’s becoming clearer by the day: they weren’t ready for this responsibility.
“We will continue to do the job they won’t,” said Cllr Smith.
“As the main opposition, we’re here to speak up for local residents, support council officers, and hold this Reform administration to account.”
Nigel Farage wants to leave the ECHR to make YOU considerably poorer.
No state pension.
No minimum wage.
No state benefits.
No maternity pay.
No holiday pay.
No sick pay.
And ultimately, no NHS.
Nigel Farage is not on your side.
Stop being thick and wake-up!
Every day our Labour government sends out Press Releases. Lots of them. I share the most relevant.
Main Stream media ignore 90% of them.
Because they are determined to have a Reform PM. And don’t care what chaos that brings to our country. Because their owners don’t live here
The evidence from the Covid Inquiry is mounting up
The incompetence
The corruption
The ambivalence
Tens of thousands died quite avoidably.
