@LBC She is right. @hopenothate reported on this on 1st May - why didnโt this get traction last weekend?! You only want to talk about it now that we (Sunderland) are stuck with this lot for 2 years?
I did donate to Wyatt so possibly Iโm a hypocrite here, but *fundraiser hat on* the hill I will die on is that we as fundraisers need to stop encouraging extreme challenges. It should not take someone ending up in A&E to raise money.
WARNING: Not for the squeamish!
This is a GRAPHIC VIDEO of @WyattVW's injuries after walking nearly 190 miles from London to South Wales to raise money for @cashforkids
He's currently in A&E, so if you wanted to donate to cheer him up, click here ๐

THE MONKEES was a groundbreaking show for many reasons.
Supposedly a kid's show, but was often subversive, anti-war, anti-establishment, and had more hit songs than any show ever made up to that point. Songs by Boyce/Hart, Harry Nilsson, Neil Diamond, to name just a few!
@mileshuntTWS Oh Milo, Iโm so sad for you. I remember seeing him always muscling in and stealing the show on your lockdown livestreams. What a little gem ๐
@Fergus_the_cat Because the cap right now is ยฃ20820 (ยฃ22222 from April).
My starting salary in charities was 2.5x the minimum wage. Thatโd be ยฃ55k now.
The starting salary for this is ยฃ310 a year below next yearโs minimum wage cap (Iโm being generous and assuming a 35 hour week).
I could cry that a charity I admire so much would offer this.
Imagine if you ran a branch of Greggs but you got fired for being corrupt. So one day you got everyone to storm Greggs and smash it up, and your only punishment is Greggs asking you back to run a Greggs again. Thatโs basically America.
