After seven years, a few different job titles, a deputy leadership contest and some international humanitarian trips, I’ve now left the office of @DrRosena.
Thanks so much for all of the opportunities over the years, including taking me with you as your Political Advisor.
This week, I’ve stepped down as a Tooting Broadway councillor to take up an exciting role in City Hall working for @SadiqKhan.
Having served a term in opposition, I was proud to be part of the Labour team last year that turned Wandsworth Council red after 44 years.
Today, I brought together officials from @wandbc and @MPSWandsworth to discuss what we can do to make Tooting Broadway a safer, cleaner and more vibrant place to live and work.

Today, I read out names of the fallen and laid a wreath at @StNicsTooting with @rexosborn@KateForbes89@BeeKemiA and members of our emergency services.
We paid respect to all of those who have served our country. Their sacrifices gave us the freedoms we enjoy today.
Thanks @DrRosena for hosting today’s coffee morning - it was a great opportunity for local residents and organisations to come together and share their ideas on how to make Tooting an even better place to live.
Wonderful to host a coffee morning for local residents today. Really grateful to everyone who attended, including some local organisations and charities who do invaluable work in the community.

5 years to the day since I travelled to the Myanmar border with @KateForbes89 , speaking to grieving Rohingya refugees who had fled the most devastating situation.
Years on, the Rohingya still wait for justice.

Out and about with @MPSWandsworth officers in Tooting this morning, talking to residents concerned about street drinking and anti-social behaviour.
Together, we're working to increase patrols in the area to ensure people feel safe in the community.
We’re transforming housing policy in Wandsworth.
We’ve now launched our new Housing and Homelessness strategy 2023-2028 and would love to hear feedback: https://t.co/JabqXMfRp8
ULEZ boost for Wandsworth families 🚗💨
We’ll give you £1,000 if you get rid of your high polluting vehicle, if you’re on means-tested benefits.
This is on top of @SadiqKhan support already available.
Time to clean up our borough’s air for everyone 🌳

Unbelievably, Tory councillors refuse to support the council’s campaign to save children’s cancer services at St George’s.
They spoke out against it in the council meeting this week.
Callous & out of touch with local people - who value these services and want to protect them
Mental health doesn’t sit in a silo, it crosses all aspects of society. This is why Wandsworth’s Labour Council is making sure mental health is considered across all departments.
I’m proud to be part of the team leading change in Wandsworth.
💙🥳 Happy 75th birthday to our NHS.
How brilliant to celebrate at the Springfield Hospital new buildings opening party!
I joined @DrRosena, the Mayor and Councillors to congratulate and say thank you to the incredible staff members and volunteers.
The values of the NHS are values we all share: community, care and compassion.
It was great to visit Springfield Hospital with @fleuranderson to give my thanks to the brilliant staff who make the NHS the incredible service it is.
This week, we heard from parents and clinicians about the impact that moving children’s cancer services from @StGeorgesTrust will have on local residents.
