The #BBCDebate, in comparison to ITV’s shambolic version, demonstrates exactly why we should protect our public service broadcaster, funded by the licence fee, at all costs. Mature, well-chaired and fair, it was a far cry from the Americanised tat we saw on Tuesday.
Would you like to join our teaching team? We currently have two exciting opportunities in French and Science. We are open to applications from colleagues at all stages of their careers, including ECTs.
Excellent. I’m reading this as DfE will finally provide minimum service levels: sufficient pay to retain quality specialists, adequate funding to ensure warm, dry, well-equipped buildings and additional funding to provide for our most vulnerable learners. Then no need to strike!
Last year, school strikes resulted in 25 million school days being lost cumulatively.
Children should not have to suffer a repeat of this disruption.
I’m announcing that we will introduce minimum service levels in schools so that pupils get the education they need and deserve.
100 Talks for Change
Next week, our Year 10 students at Redmoor will be participating in the 100 Talks for Change initiative, a mission by two inspiring young men to travel the country, delivering 100 mental health talks to young people within 20 days.
We are delighted to share with you the news that Redmoor Academy has been given permission to increase the number of students we can admit and will also have new facilities to accommodate them.
Redmoor Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of its students who have just received their GCSE results. Individually and collectively, students have achieved an excellent set of qualifications that will establish a foundation for their futures: https://t.co/hlOfd0mfps
@Camp_CostaRica@CampsInt Thank you so much to the Camps team and the teachers for making this experience possible. In particular, thanks to Matt who we can’t thank in person. The stories tell what a great leader you were for our kids. Thank you for your fun and warmth.
@jeffreykboakye@Penny_Ten Thank you. I really want to educate myself better in world history from perspectives other than the white European. I want to learn what I don’t know! Any tips for books, documentaries, films…
This is Setenil de las Bodegas, a small Spanish town built into the cliffs of a narrow river valley.

@Carter6D Thanks for sharing. My reading list gets longer and longer! It’s motivating to know you haven’t them all from cover to cover but have still got something from each one.
Thank you to all of our Year 11 students for yet again, another amazing Prom. You all looked fantastic! Here are our Redmoor photos, including some from our Year 10 photography students.
