Mormons make you feel bad about this, I thought my family would die in the night if I dared fall asleep praying. And if you repeat the same thing every night it’s “routine” so it wouldn’t “work” this had me STRESSED

but on a serious note, I told my friend that I fell asleep during prayer and I was feeling guilty about it and she said “That means you feel so safe in the presence of the Lord that it brought you peace and you were able to rest.”

That stuck with me ever since.
