Another little treasure from the art collection...this time an Indian miniature watercolour 'Maiden in the Woods' by Navneeth Parikh. Miniatures have a long history in #India (dating back to the 9th Century)and keep traditional stories & culture alive through their tiny detail.

Just finishing three days of digitising textiles at Georgian House. We can't wait to make them accessible to everyone online. Lovely embroidered caps, bags and much more.
Two beautiful new benches have been installed outside the museum this week thanks to generous funding from the Post Office Remembrance Fellowship.
The benches are war memorials commemorating the Bristol postal workers that lost their lives during WWII.
