The wood for the frame was also donated by local business Flytes of Fancy, but none of this would have been possible without a grant from @wessexwater_

Just been quoted £1075 for a place on the school bus so that my son can enter 6th Form Education.

How is this affordable when staying in education (employment/training - both paid) is compulsory?

So often magazine articles and television programs focus on encouraging children (under 11s) to grow. But why does this stop at Primary School? Buckland Newton Youth Club members took on an allotment in 2024 and having cleared it started sowing this evening. @GWandShows @DCMS

I run a Youth Club & I don't allow mobile phones. In fact I have a mobile phone pile of shame which is where any mobiles go if I find anyone with them. We see young people spending time with their friends, developing social skills & joining in with activities @BBCr4today

A long time ago I co-founded #UKYP and this statement from @dwclark79 is incorrect and does a disservice to the young people/Procedures Group members, UKYP staff and Regional Co-ordinators who co-produced #MakeYourMark

I'm fed up with other people claiming the credit for UKYP.

@FraserNelson there is a clear roll here for qualified youth workers to work with yp to support them from claiming benefits, staying in education/training, providing work ethic.

Embedding the 5 Steps to well-being in youth work would also help to address emotional well-being.
