London born from Barcelona. Like to read and retweet about Spain, Europe and bits and bobs about the UK. In the restaurant business so food and wine always good
@ChillaxBcn It always astonishes me how some vecinos on Tuset complain and the politicians pander to them. I really like this tweet from Khan standing up for a varied and realistic London for all.
@ChillaxBcn In the late 90’s i lived on consell de cent/balmes. There were clubs galore, noise & mess, after 4 years we moved to a quiet barrio. Relief. Simple.
Complaining about nightlife when you *checks notes* choose to live in Soho is like living in South Kensington and complaining about the museums. Or moving to Hackney and grumbling about creatives. Living in Richmond and hating green space. It's all getting a bit silly, isn't it?
@South_Euro_ Maybe it would be easier to just agree on hating absolutely everyone and everything, build high walls around cities/towns/villages and live in bubbles.
@ChillaxBcn@AleksanderOlech We’ve had alot of riots over the years, more recently connected to Catalan independence, quite a different beast altogether.

King Charles reminds Trump and MAGA that NATO invoked Article 5 for the first time after 9/11, when all alliance members came to the aid of the United States.
“Today, Mr. Speaker, that same unyielding resolve is needed for the defense of Ukraine and her most courageous people,” the king said, receiving a standing ovation🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇦
