@Aerliingus_Ire Hi, what is going on with the Manchester to Orlando route. We have flights booked in May. We have not been told they are cancelled but have been sent an email saying we can request a refund or reallocation, with vague references to social media. Any clarification?
@ScotCitylink We were travelling to Aviemore from Perth. We seem to have caught a bus going in the right direction from Broxden now though, so all good! Thanks for your help
@megabusuk Hi @megabusuk and @ScotCitylink , I've seen the posts about Broxden. I'm supposed to travel from there, heading to Aviemore at 5.35 this evening. Is there an alternative stop I should go to to continue my journey, or should the issue be resolved by then? Any info appreciated!
Hi @megabusuk, travelling Perth to Aviemore today (5.35pm). Where is the best place to stay updated? It'll be cold if we're stuck waiting at Broxden so want to be prepared! Thank you
@megabusuk Thank you, I appreciate your reply. From looking at the Tracker, our intended bus isn't trackable, so you may end up with another tweet closer to the time. Trains have already been disrupted, so this journey is looking fun!
Hi @megabusuk, any news on the M66? It should have arrived in Reading at 16.35 headed towards Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds but is nowhere to be seen. Coach tracker is also not showing it. I want to go home!
@megabusuk Bus finally leaving Reading at 5.30pm. I imagine you may want to put posts or notifications up for travellers waiting in Birmingham and Manchester. The bus driver also said to another customer that the 5.40pm bus was expected to be another hour, so also late.
@megabusuk I'm really concerned that I'm still stuck here with no knowledge of what's going on when I know the social media team only runs to 6pm. What do we do if we're still waiting after that point? I know there is another bus that goes via Birmingham at 5.40 - am I allowed to hop on it?
@megabusuk It's been 25 minutes with no sign so far, so definitely some delay. There's a group of us here waiting - is there not anything further that can be done to know what's going on?
So this is the GIF that comes up when I type in 'Dr Stuart'. I'll take it!
Thanks to my amazing examiners yesterday for, from the little I can remember, was a lovely viva experience! I still haven't processed things yet, but is it weird that I'm excited to work on my corrections?
Is there some kind of beef with Norway going on that I didn't know about? I didn't expect her to win but definitely feel like the jury vote doesn't seem to match the show I watched! #Eurovision2023
Things I did today: showered, had a meeting with my supervisors, collected a prescription, grabbed a celebratory ice cream from the shop, and, most importantly submitted my thesis. Now to find things to fill my time with while the beast is with my lovely examiners...
@NayanaPrakash1@AcademicChatter It's okay to go off topic! If the thought that flows into your head is "oh, I'm feeling stressed about X or y" write it down and keep moving forward. I find it helps my mind feel less cluttered. Even better, you see what you know about your chapter and where you need more info.
@NayanaPrakash1@AcademicChatter I find having a bit of a brain dump through freewriting useful if I'm feeling blocked. Set a timer and then just start writing. No worries about grammar, references, sounding 'right' - just write what you think you want to do in the section you're blocked in.
