[Pope Francis – ARCHIVE @Pontifex266Arch]

We need the Holy Spirit to give us new eyes, to open our minds and our hearts to face the present moment and the future having learned this lesson: That humanity is one. No one is saved alone. No one.

When fear controls us, faith can’t compel us. 🙏🏻 The things you learn at 3am listening to a bunch of online church homilies and sermons. 💙 #GodsOnOurTeam

But you, Lord, will not leave us at the mercy of the storm. Tell us again: “Do not be afraid” (Mt 28:5). And we, together with Peter, “cast all our anxieties onto you, for you care about us” (cf. 1 Pet 5:7). https://t.co/0jL43izNVh

This is why you’re doing it folks! It’s giving us the necessary time to prepare! And before you complain, stop and think....what if my loved one gets infected & needs a vent. Without this preparation time your loved one might not get that vent. 🤔

By staying home for two weeks we are slowing the spread of COVID-19 and giving our health care system the time it needs to prepare to care for people who are very sick. By staying home, we are buying time and saving lives. #StayHomeMN #COVID-19 https://t.co/nWaYNMydmk

The first requirement for prayer is faith, the second is perseverance, and the third is courage. In these days when we need to pray more, let us ask ourselves if we pray like this. The Lord never deludes! He makes us wait, but He never deludes. #HomilySantaMarta

[Pope Francis – ARCHIVE @Pontifex266Arch]

Let us #PrayTogether for doctors, hospital staff, and volunteers who are giving their own lives to save others. And for civil leaders, for those who have to make decisions at this time. All these people are the pillars defending us in this crisis.

I would like to give a big shout out to an under appreciated group of workers.....The environmental service employees of the hospital who are working very hard at ensuring clean working environments for staff and patients!!! They are included in the frontline of healthcare!!👏🏻

The best advice I can say is don’t act like you don’t have the virus but rather that you DO have the virus and you want to PROTECT the community! Stay home & stay healthy!!❤️

[Ash @AshGilsdorf]

If we ALL comply & stay home these next couple weeks, that might be all it takes & we’ll all be able to get back to doing life. If not, we might be working on this for MONTHS. Stay home & don’t be selfish/think you’re above this/think it’s a hoax because hey, it’s not about you!
