@TomMcArthur@MirrorMilo I'm mainly on the diet coke and not out in BD often but I can vouch for member-owned anarchist club @1in12club being super cheap and interesting, and Caroline Street Social Club in Saltaire being incredibly cheap and an absolute vibe
Had a great time speaking about all things immersive at Jena Fulldome Festival in Germany. What a beautiful planetarium too, totally embracing its art deco vibes
@ZipNotts Nothing dropped on my head, which is great because not having things dropped on my head is one of my faves. I did note that it smells amazing in there, and my bag got builders' dust on the bottom from putting it on the floor, which then transferred to my black outfit. Reassuring!
The last brand new venue I went to was Sphere which was the most spherical place I've ever been, and I can now confirm the Co-op Live arena is the most squarest. Ate a cheese triangle inside just to complete the trifecta
Took my face to see the new LED ceiling at Printworks in Manchester. All art, no ads (so far). Apparently there's interactivity via mobiles as well so people can play games together. 10/10 will be back for more
Thanks to @middletemple for a beautiful night celebrating their history and culture with a few of the funniest and most creative people. Also it turns out barristers are wild; ask the staff for some stories if you ever drop in (which you absolutely can)
@Bradford_Live This was a big disappointment during the anti-demolition campaign, but I think good for regeneration because you can do the work more easily?
