Barriers like midwifery practice restrictions have to go. Birth centers can be facilitated by removing barriers to startup and by better reimbursement.

@SzQz Well I think that’s what some people like about using it but it just means the pregnant person is 35 by the time of the birth. Nothing magical happens… no sudden change in risk…

The St. Louis school that was the site of an active shooter today had:

-Metal Detectors
-All doors were locked
-Seven security officers in the school

Still, the shooter gained entry and people died.
