@laneWTCC@laneWTCC I really enjoy this design because it’s creative, but is simple enough that it can be used in a variety of designs. I could see it used for a clothing company logo, or maybe an energy drink campaign. Very nice!
@MiraRa86719803 @MiraRa86719803 I have plans to visit South Korea and Thailand next year. I have also been working on learning both languages so I can navigate the countries a little easier. But I want to explore all of Asia one day. Are there any places you would like to visit?
@MiraRa86719803 @MiraRa86719803 Wow! Thank you so, so much for posting this article. It had so many helpful tips and made me very excited for the future. Working for yourself while traveling is my dream but also seemed almost impossible to me. This article gave me hope. Thank you so much!
@lesliejjhessit I think the self-portrait collage assignment was a little difficult, but it was also what I enjoyed the most. Finding content about myself from a limited amount of material was a little difficult. But it was fun!
Hello, everybody! I have really been enjoying the class so far. What is the most challenging thing you have faced in this course so far? A particular assignment or design concept? #GRD141
@AdamCreation@AdamCreation I really love how well put together and aesthetically pleasing the design is, but also looks easy to find the info you’re looking for. I think sometimes companies make sites difficult to navigate but yours looks very informative and easy to follow!
@MGurleyGD Wow @MGurleyGD ! This looks like a professional magazine cover! When I was scrolling I thought it was a retweeted post from a professional magazine.
@Do0dlesSabrina@Do0dlesSabrina I absolutely love Procreate! There are endless amounts of design tools to choose from. It takes some time to learn all of the ins and outs of the program but it’s worth it! @Procreate is a software that can be used for virtually any design project. 10/10!
@waddlewecreate@waddlewecreate One of the things that I never had given much thought to, which may seem simple, is how important negative space is. Some designs need it but often times you need to wary not to use too much. Through this course I now have developed a watchful eye for this.
@MiraRa86719803 @MiraRa86719803 I am a major Batman fan and seeing how the comic book covers changed over time is amazing! It shows how both graphic design software developed over the years and how the themes evolved from comical to much darker and more serious.
@EssieMac3@EssieMac3 I think working with black and white is more fun because it creates many challenges. Without varying colors to choose from you have to create depth and texture with negative space and drawing techniques. Such as stippling and cross-hatching.
@MiraRa86719803 @MiraRa86719803 In 2 years I see myself traveling full time. I hope to be working as a freelance graphic designer and as a videographer/editor for a travel site/blog. My main goal is to see as much of the world as possible!
@Meridet77629864 Hello @Meridet77629864 ! I think one of my favorite exercises was the self-portrait collage. It was fun yet challenging to locate magazine clippings that relate directly to me personally and then incorporate that into a design. But it was a lot of fun
