“To me, Henry wasn't a headline or a court case. He was my best friends funny, caring, cheeky son. Henry had a way of making people smile without even trying. He had so much life ahead of him, so many plans, and so much love to give. When Henry was just a baby, Lucy gave me the honour of being his godmother. Our kids, like us shared their childhood. Henry's loved ones were just normal people and we were enjoying watching our kids grow into adults, naively taking for granted that we would see all the wonderful things that life had to offer them.
On December 5th 2025, when the news broke, life as we knew it stopped.
My focus in what I want to say will always be Henry and Henry's family.
But, nothing I could ever say would come close to explaining the pain of losing Henry. But alongside the heartbreak of losing Henry has been the pain of watching one of the kindest families I have ever known have their entire world torn apart.
I was lucky enough to grow up with the family of my best friends Lucy (Henry's Mum) and Katie (Henry's aunty). The family make everyone feel welcome. Their home is filled with kindness, warmth and laughter. No matter what life throws at them they always find a way to bring light to those around them. They are generous with their time, compassionate in their hearts, and the sort of people who make others feel like family too, including me and then my children. Their laughter is infectious, their support unwavering, and their love for one another shines through in everything they do.
My heart is broken for them, a very large part of them died on the day that monster chose to rip Henry from their lives. Yet even through their darkest days they continued to be the wonderful people that they are. Their focus during these dark times was to shine a light on and raise money for the charity that has helped them.
Then, 6 months after Henry's death, the heart ache continued as they had to face the trial. Being subjected to sit in a room with the monster who brutally murdered their son and watch the lies spill so easily from his mouth. A man who has not once showed an an ounce of remorse for what he did. They endured a living nightmare.
Thinking that things could not possibly get worse, in the last few weeks they have learned that the very institution that is there to protect us not only ignored Henry's plea for help, but they sided with the monster who put him on the ground .
Henry's family learned that his last moments were not only spent so afraid of the monster who attacked him but he was then wronged and let down by the police officer who I have no doubt, Henry assumed was there to help him.
That police officer handcuffed Henry and read him his rights. The last thing my best friend's beautiful boy heard before we lost him forever.
This image, we will never ever be able to erase from our minds. Family, friends and now the world, will have seen that image and we all have to live with it forever.
Shame on the monster who took you, shame on the police officer who should have helped you and shame on the organisation that trained the police officer to side with an incorrect racist slur over a dying young man. Shame on you all!!
You treated a loving caring intelligent hardworking young man, with such disregard and disrespect. You treated Henry's family, such good people, with such dishonesty! The lies have been inforgivable !! HOW DARE YOU.
Henry deserved so much more from this life. Henry and his family have been let down so badly.
THIS COULD HAPPEN AGAIN TO ANYONE, ANYONE'S CHILD.
This has to stop now.
Henry we will fight until the end for you. The world will know your name. You changed our lives for the better for being a part of it, I believe you will now go on to change the lives of others by the legacy you will leave.
God bless you my darling 💙”
This is what entitlement looks like! 🤬
There are nesting waterbirds on this pond on Hampstead Heath... there are also big 'No Swimming' signs, all being totally ignored! 🤬
Pure selfishness... 😒🤬🤬

What a beautiful moment.
A young girl with special needs interrupted a Jürgen Klopp interview, and his reaction was boss, exactly what we’ve come to expect from this wonderful man.
My son has Autism and rarely gives anyone his time or attention. But when he met Klopp, he walked straight over, hugged him, and started chatting nonstop. Klopp couldn’t have been kinder he gave my lad his full attention and spent time talking with him like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Kids just know good people ❤️
The Kop & Anfield stood as one today, supporters totally united.
A clear message to @LFC that couldn’t be louder or more honest.
Take this appalling three-year run of price rises off the table.
Football was built by the working classes.
Price them out, and you strip the game of its soul.

On the 19th April 1989, just 4 days after the #Hillsboroughdisaster, this was the headline that The S*n chose to release.
Some of the dead had only been formerly identified for less than 72 hours, their bodies still lying in mortuaries, the bereaved completely broken, and around 766 survivors were beyond traumatised & injured.
The headline was approved by the then editor Kelvin Mackenzie, who argued that his only mistake was trusting his "source," conservative MP Irvine Patnick. Mackenzie originally wanted to use the headline "You Scum," but apparently, others convinced him to change it!
The headline led to protests and a boycott in Merseyside.
Sales of the rag dropped all over the UK, but they still refused to apologise and withdraw their disgusting allegations.
Around 20 of the rags "journalists" were sent to Liverpool and Sheffield to find negative information about Liverpool fans and victims of the crush.
▫️Some "journalists" impersonated concerned family members, priests, and social workers to gain access to the hospital bedsides of the injured and obtain information from hospital staff
▫️Some entered the home of Anne Williams, uninvited
▫️Some blackmailed the family of a deceased teenager, telling them that if they didn't give a photograph of him, they would use an image of him in hospital on life support against their wishes
▫️some "journalists" harassed families like mine, waiting in our street for us to leave the house. Hiding behind cars, which meant I had to be taken to school late and be picked up early to avoid them getting my photograph.
I was 6 years old.
▫️other "journalists" photographed funerals despite being asked not to.
Whilst we know the lies started with Duckenfield as he watched the disaster unfold from the police control box, The S*n enabled South Yorkshire Police Force to continue to lie.
It enabled West Midlands Police force
to continue to build on those foundations for the Cover Up.
Although a majority didn't believe it, some did, and others continue to do so today.
This headline tarnished families, survivors, Liverpool fans, the city, and more appallingly, it tarnished the dead.
It is 1 of the direct causes for tragedy chanting and death mocking.
It enabled "professionals" to lie and cover up within their own organisation, and it was directly responsible for torment and mental suffering of bereaved families and survivors.
It is my understanding that disgusting headline, cause some survivors to take their own lives.
And yet NOBODY from Whites News Agency, Sheffield, nor Mackenzie, nor Patrick Irvine or any of the "journalists" who went to disgusting measures to intrude on other peoples suffering or grief, have ever been held to account.
This is one of many reasons for @NowHillsborough
We have recently seen at the Nottingham inquiry that the police force response for abhorrent failings tried to silence the media to stop the exposure of their grossly negligent failures.
A Hillsborough Law would have seen the "journalists" from the S*n, held to account for their misleading information.
It would have given Mackenzie & Irvine a legal duty of candour.
Hopefully a Leveson 2 may come......
But until then this your reminder of the power of lies, misinformation and why we #DontBuyTheSun

It’s hard, maybe even unfair… but I’m grateful this is happening to me here, among you. I’m not alone. Your strength and your love will be my driving force. See you again soon, Anfield ❤️
The Fulham Lillies stand in solidarity with @spiritofshankly as they launch their “Not a Pound in the Ground” campaign ahead of today’s fixture at Anfield.
We ask Fulham fans to consider supporting local businesses around Anfield rather than spending money inside the ground.

This is a HUGE THANK YOU to the @LFC fans who helped me when I fell dangerously ill outside the Corner Pub before Saturday’s FA Cup QF. I hope they might see this via @TheAnfieldWrap@empireofthekop@thisisanfield Tribalism was set aside as they ensured I didn’t walk alone🩵❤️❤️🩹
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that Israel is going to HANG 10,000 Palestinians and NOBODY in the world is doing anything to stop it.
10,000!
