A far-right talking point is that immigrants and nonwhite people ruin/pollute the environment, and yet every day there's some insane policy item from Trump and Vance that makes it legal to destroy the environment, removes protections from animals, opens public lands up to be cut up and stripped. There is no political force more at war with America's natural beauty than the MAGA GOP and the new right. Nobody is doing more to leave less behind for future generations.
Literally what the hell do "Conservatives" conserve?!? As someone who currently works in conservation, the gleeful joy by which he signs the death warrant on entire species crushes my soul.
“To protect a little rodent” I can’t even voice my rage right now. They are going to kill innocent animals and destroy their environment. They’re going to destroy sacred land and national parks that have been protected for decades. All these people do is destroy. Something has to be done to protect these animals and land. Someone needs to do something.
There is some kind of mass psychosis that has convinced millions of people that the United States was the only country in the world that enacted protective measures in response to the global pandemic that occurred in 2020
So let me get this straight:
The Ai companies are buying up all of our books, scanning them into their software and then destroying the books so that the only place to get that information is through
them And without hard copies they can literally alter any information they want and thus rewrite history to control the future.
The "knowledge is power" war has officially started and we are just .. watching..
Every forest gives us oxygen.
Every ocean regulates our climate.
Every bee helps grow our food.
Every river gives us water.
Yet somehow…
nature is treated like a luxury instead of life itself.
The strange thing about humans…
We spend billions trying to discover life on other planets,
while treating the only living planet we’ve ever found as if it’s replaceable.
Canada is on fire.
Europe is on fire.
The Amazon is on fire.
Cities are breaking heat records.
Rivers are drying up.
Other countries are drowning in floods.
Storms are getting stronger.
Seasons don’t feel like seasons anymore.
And somehow…
climate change is still a debate.
