@MartinSLewis UC to tax credits. I get the advance payment idea but this is a loan.. so I’m either in debt with rent (£800) or in debt to UC (advance loan).. through NO fault of my own, BEFORE my first payment. 1 benefit paid in arrears, 1 in advance, which means a gap

#martinlewis I have an outstanding debt of £180 on my octopus electricity account. I don’t pay DD. My tariff is coming to an end and to change tariff, I must sign up to DD. Will my first DD payment include the debt ?

@BBCWatchdog Daughter had one installed to monitor her driving over a 6 month period .. today it got cancelled mainly because of ‘late night driving’ she is always a designated driver as doesn’t drink (can’t afford it due to high premium)! Being safe and she is being penalised without warning
