I think @OpenJ9 has to be one of the most interesting #JVM projects out there. Every other #Java distribution of the #JRE/#JDK uses some form of the #Sun/#Oracle #OpenJDK and HotSpot code. Nothing wrong with HotSpot, but diversity in JVM implementations is a good thing.
