The “3 way” traffic lights on the A4421 at Newton Purcell are not working properly with the lights going Northbound not changing from red. It isn’t very safe! Can’t report online at @Cherwellcouncil and tried 101 for @ThamesVP needs fixing ASAP!
Really worth a read, I always feel ashamed of saying I’m a manager in the NHS and I don’t know why! I am proud of the work I do and I know it makes a difference to our service users! #NHS
Do read @BMJLeader; here’s 2nd blog from me & @emmachallans on NHS management “It is true that everyone in the NHS is facing challenges….let’s not assume managers don’t stand front and centre…or that they hide in the shadows, serving a different master.” https://t.co/qkNVOowhkz
For those who don't fully understand what is up with the NHS, here is a thread for you that might help.
I'm a consultant physician working as a doctor in the NHS in Yorkshire and Wales for 32 years now. I have experienced the NHS at its best (2008) and its worst (2022).
Truly sad to hear the passing of @Alannobbs he provided a warm welcome and guidance to those of us on the @NHSGradScheme. He will be truly missed and it was a pleasure to have met him, rest in peace
Such sad times. Just heard about the death of Alan Nobbs @Alannobbs. Alan was one of the best people I ever worked with. He was a developer of leaders, champion for well-being & passionate advocate & activist for improvement in the NHS. Alan was just an outstanding human being.
Watching Putin's attack on Ukraine play out, I am struck by the thought that Putin learned the lesson from the wrong Afghanistan war. And he has also vastly misunderstood post-Zelenskiy Ukraine. 1/?
Day 2 of my new job and I am so tired I just want to curl up in a ball for a few weeks and sleep… why is starting a new job so exhausting?! #NHS#NewJob
A group of anti-vaccine activists led by Jeff Wyatt and Piers Corbyn entered an NHS test and trace centre in Milton Keynes today, shouted abuse at staff and took some of the equipment.
This is just…we don’t even know where to start with this. We are doing our absolute best to keep our heads above water and save as many lives as possible. And then we log on to see this.
If you support us and the NHS staff who will be watching this please will you RT & follow?
Have you ever wondered what the collapse of the NHS would actually look like? It's in the small things - my latest @Independent newsletter: https://t.co/Xg6u9Fu3Kw
South Central Ambulance Service has declared a Critical Incident due to extreme pressures across our services. Our staff and volunteers are working extremely hard to respond to calls but the volume is overwhelming.
Feels uncomfortable to say this
But the difference in public outrage and media coverage between the Sarah Everard murder
And that of Sabina Nessa, and sisters Nicole & Bibba is glaring
At least people can only fill up their car to a certain level, unlike toilet roll that you can buy until your house is full… toilet roll gate part 2 but with fuel. Shouldn’t laugh but I can’t help it 😂😂😂#petrolshortage
Am I hearing right - the onus is on ME to make sure a man doesn’t attack me when I walk home at night. Not on a man to not attack me in the first place - so no headphones, tight clothes; or pay for a cab - and we’re normalising that?!
There’s been so much negativity around GPs, but I had such a good experience. I called them, a GP reviewed my request, sent me a questionnaire and by the next day I was able to book an appointment for the same day. Think GPs need more recognition of the work they are doing #NHS
