@marksummerscast They’re all relying on funding atm, and at my drama school they were having to cut costs endlessly because of being taken over by the institution that was looking after it financially. Other schools are lucky enough to have private funding. In the world we live in, it’s a mess.

@marksummerscast Not entirely the fault of the schools. The training costs a fortune. It’s the most unprofitable form of education that exists. There used to be a lot more government subsidy than there is now. Charities like Open Door are the answer, until we stop capitalism... 😑
