Update; I emailed Anime North about my experience and they've reached back to me and offered a full refund for my tickets.

I used this email [email protected] & forward my email with my ticket information and explained mine were never claimed (because they weren't) since I couldn't physically stand in the 4+ hr line

Anime North being shocked over the line up congestion/ being over capacitated but also Anime North caught bragging about having 20k-36k attendees for the weekend. Make it it make sense 😒

@JewelzForever @realmonsanto I feel you, I have asthma too. It wasn't worth the risk for me to stand in the line for 4hrs +. I'm just really hoping they issue refunds. I also have been dealing with a slight sun allergy.

@JewelzForever @realmonsanto I heard they had a power trip about the masks. I'm a retail manager & let me tell you we would of gotten in trouble heavily if we abused customers like that asking them to wear masks when the clearly stated they were having medical problems.

@superfanamber I went 2017 (Saturday) and it was a solid 1hr wait. I've had better experience waiting in line at Canada's Wonderland (2hrs sometime for a coaster) but AT LEAST they have shading tents and water to buy

@esoteric_prince As far as I was aware they were still taking Sunday admission sales and *maybe* weekend sales & had only couple days ago capped Friday and Saturday sales.

@helendu04 @chopzsite @carolzhaoqq @anime_north People literally share the badge though 😂 So it's passed around no matter what, it's be easier to identified an already scanned QR code though than a badge. Also people don't share their phone normally and I'm sure they'd have rules on screen shots etc
