Toronto Police Searching for Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child at Roundhouse Park

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of sexually assaulting a six-year-old child at Roundhouse Park in downtown Toronto.

Police say officers responded to the area near Bremner Boulevard and Lower Simcoe Street at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, following a report of a sexual assault involving a child.

According to investigators, the six-year-old was playing on the trains at the park when a man approached the child and sexually assaulted them.

Police allege that when the child’s parent confronted the man, he sexually assaulted the child again before fleeing the area.

The man is described as approximately 55 to 60 years old, about 5-foot-6 with an average build. He is described as having a receding hairline with a bald crown, black and grey hair and no facial hair. Police say he wears prescription glasses with silver metal frames.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to contact the Toronto Police Service at 416-808-5200.
