This morning I tweeted about a book that I'd borrowed from the library.
The author responded.
He works for the NYT so this tracks with their whole vibe.
Despite enjoying it I'm not going to finish it.
Because as a writer myself, I say without hesitation libraries rule.
@AutoAdvanced Your techs definitely could use some training. Bought a battery and install, and the tech kept hitting a bracket and causing sparks and was absolutely dumbfounded as to why it kept happening. In the end I have to take my battery to my mechanic for the install :(
@KeneAkers In Colombia, they would braid maps in their hair so that they could escape the Spanish captors. The first free African city is in Colombia, San Bacilio de Palenque. <3
Perhaps an RSVP system next year or a way that directs traffic that makes sense. Or even a location that has more room. Instead, we sat over an hour and then had two very disappointed children.
@TomDernogaD1@TomDernogaforD1 Really disappointed in the lack of organization for the Trunk or Treat last night. We got in line on Montgomery Road at 6:15, sat in traffic over an hour and were turned away at 7:45. All less than a mile from our house/the school.
@adamtotscomix I think the squishmallow people are ripping off your concept for Delicious Bradley. I wondered why I loved this little guy so much, it's essentially your design...
@Harvard_Law is there any way we can check on this person https://t.co/dA3P5EzIiR because he's harassing my sister and otherwise acting in a manner that is not becoming of a Harvard Law grad.
@GraceSpelman Back when the original Jeepers Creepers movie came out, after we watched it, my husband asked how the monster was able to get vanity plates for his truck. Then he spoke in a "monster voice" and said "Hello? DMV, yes I would like to order a plate. Yes Be Eating You. Thank you."
@MatPatGT it occurs to me that Booberry is the Ghost of Huckleberry Hound.. note the eyes and the eyebrows and the hat... And they both have berry-names... What do you think?
