Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike says a "defect" in one of its software updates has affected Windows operating systems, causing worldwide outages.

These outages have resulted in flight cancellations and disruptions to banking, healthcare, and retail services.

This CrowdStrike issue might be the largest IT outage in history.

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is an American cybersecurity technology company based in Austin, Texas.

Coincidentally, Austin Private Wealth LLC, the investment firm that denied shorting Trump's Truth Social stock due to a clerical error, is also located in Austin, Texas.

CrowdStrike is the same cybersecurity company hired by Hillary Clinton and the Democrats to investigate Russia’s alleged breach of the DNC.

CrowdStrike blamed Russia for the hack, which led to the Mueller Report claiming ‘Russian Collusion’ against Trump.

Trump even mentioned CrowdStrike to Zelensky on a phone call, saying, “I would like to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say CrowdStrike. I guess you have one of your wealthy people. The server, they say Ukraine has it.”

BlackRock and Vanguard are the main shareholders of CrowdStrike.
