Terry Nichols had traveled to the Philippines, but if you read my book, you’ll see that all roads lead back to Elohim City—a secluded compound in the backwoods of Muldrow, Oklahoma. An ATF informant embedded there warned her handler that members of the community were planning a bombing. Timothy McVeigh, a young man from Lockport, New York, received a speeding ticket near Elohim City and made a phone call to the compound just two weeks before the bombing—only two minutes after calling the Ryder truck rental company.
