I never complain, however. I am boarding my flight from London to Newark. @British_Airways after a late night concert in Newcastle last night. I asked an associate to help me with an upgrade (willing to pay obviously) and was told that business class is completely full. I asked again at the gate, only because mg gate seemed completely empty prior to boarding, and they said it’s completely open but there is nothing they can do. I asked again on board, as I have had a long exhausting few days of travel, and manager (Jason) very bluntly told me they don’t know what they’re doing in the business lounge. This is my flight fully boarded. And I just can’t help but wonder why???? Are upgrades not available to “everyone”?? BA189
