Just 2 days after the UK passed its racist "Safety of Rwanda" bill, the UK's Home Secretary, visited the island during an Italian tour.

He announced that his visit to Italy aims to look at "what the Italian government ... and the Italian coastguard is doing to prevent small boat arrivals here". The #Rwandabill will allow the UK government to forcibly remove people who have fled violence and persecution to Rwanda.

In 2009 when volunteering in Kenya, a young girl was brought in by her parents for virginity testing. I refused, was horrified & spoke out many times about why this was not ok.
