My Twitter is rapidly turning into a PhD posse fan account, but I’m unapologetically enthusiastic about the people I get to call my friends and colleagues 🥰
Still reeling in PhD-hand-in-joy, so I made this video. Jokes, I have COVID so have nothing else to do but spend 3hrs getting the timing of sound, image & text absolutely perfect in this video. Now, I present: What I did in the last three weeks of my PhD #promiseiactuallydidwork
PhD handed in 🍾 Beyond thankful for my compassionate supervisors, research teams, clinicians, PhD posse, friends & whānau! Excited to be staying on postdoctorally with the same dream team & starting as a Health Psychology Intern in 2023 @NathanConsedine @SerlachiusAnna 💛
The wait is over. First PhD publication 🎉
Beyond excited to share that our systematic review on mediation studies of self-compassion and physical health outcomes is now out in Mindfulness #OpenAcess

On Friday we celebrated @jennbrenton before her move back to Canada 😭 So thankful for our biggest group cheerleader and to have this group who are there so unconditionally for every disappointment and milestone. @NathanConsedine sure knows how to pick PhD students 💛
“I’m done with COVID” is code for “I’m pretty sure I’ll be ok if I get infected, and what happens to other people is of no concern to me.”
Other than being selfish and privileged, it‘s shortsighted - more cases = strains on healthcare & other systems, risk of new variants, etc.
It’s finally here! Thrilled to share my first doctoral paper, which explored the factor structure of the IES-2 in a clinical population, and offers norms for a variety of clinical groups. Very grateful to all involved who helped bring this project to life. 🤩#intuitiveeating
Loved watching @KatieBabbott present at the @CARN_NZ conference last night. Can't wait to see her #intuitiveeating program for rangitahi in the works for 2022 ✨
Loved attending the @CARN_NZ conference last night! Heard about new developments in child & adolescent eating disorder research, and some beautiful reflections on the importance of hope. I sure have a lot of hope with wāhine toa like these paving the way in the field. ✨
Looking forward to sharing some thoughts on wellbeing and prevention, and the role #intuitiveeating can play in fostering a healthy relationship with food & body in early adolescence 🍎
