Look out for us in the next academic year!☀️
#BuryMHST attended the Transitions Event for the parents and young people transitioning to High School.
We set up a wonderful stall to talk to parent and children as well as the other professionals.
The rest of the team set up fun activities linked to 5 ways to wellbeing.🌟
A wonderful meeting today with members of #BuryMHST, Early Break and Bury's Educational Psychology Team as we came together for our second Emotionally Friendly Settings Accreditation Panel following a recent visit to @UnsworthAcademy. 🌟

@StStephens_Bury@PennineCareNHS "Our school has always had emotional health, wellbeing and flourishing at the very heart of everything we do. Everyone at St Stephen's is absolutely thrilled to have this recognised by being awarded the bronze accrediation, the first primary school in Bury to receive it."
#BuryMHST have been working hard to support schools and colleges across Bury to achieve Bronze Accreditation for Emotionally Friendly Settings Award.
A panel convened last month to award @StStephens_Bury their Bronze Acceditation making them the first accredited school in Bury!
Some wonderful Yr 5 and 6's stopped by my Wellbeing Drop in at their school and produced their own Wellbeing Posters!
Early intervention and prevention education to children and young people is so important to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health🌈❤️ @PennineCareNHS
#BuryMHST and #StockportMHST practitioners working together and sharing ideas on their two day DBT Skills In Schools Training with British Isles DBT Training. Wonderful opportunity to learn new skills and share ideas on mental health support in schools✨️ @PennineCareNHS
Trying something new!
Following the activity on our away day I used this activity to help a young person consolidate their learning as part of their relapse prevention.
Collaboratively we wrote what they had learnt and positive affirmations they could keep.🌈 @PennineCareNHS
Last week #BuryMHST had their second away day as a team focusing on:
- Creative Ways of Working
- Team bonding
As a mostly remote team it's not often we get to spend time all together and share our wonderful ideas.
We also had a team wellbeing walk! @PennineCareNHS@AbbieEMHP
#BuryMHST practitioners were busy last week not only with 1:1 interventions, but also with lots of Whole School Approach work across Bury schools and colleges! Spreading the word for #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek and supporting schools to deliver their wellbeing offer. @Place2Be
It's #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek and to kick things off one of Bury MHST's Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners, Skye, is sharing her go to coping strategy. Give it a try!
What's your most helpful coping strategy?
@PennineCareNHS
It's #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek! 💛
We believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. This week, we’re focusing on helping young people explore the theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself,’ empowering them to better understand their emotions and build resilience. 🌱
